Swimming Pool.

  • Our 22 metre swimming pool (heated by the sun) is a great way to enjoy the great climate in Northland and is the centrepiece of our recreational facilities.
  • The pool has sun loungers where you can relax and soak up some sun. There is a slide for the children and a fountain pool for toddlers.
  • Note: children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We take all care but no responsibility.

Conference facilities.

  • Featuring 3 break-out rooms, 50” Plasma TV, DVD/CD and Video Player, Telephone Conferencing, Broadband Internet, a full sound system & overhead projector, white board and flip charts, and Podium the Waiharuru Te Whare conference centre is the ideal place for your large meetings

bullet Recreation Area - The children’s play area has some great activities to keep them amused and you relaxed. These include a trampoline, see-saw and swing.
bullet Facilities for the adults and family include Giant Chess board, Petanque pitch, Croquet lawn, Volleyball Badminton and Basketball court.
bullet Why not eat outside in our BBQ area where we have a gas fired BBQ and seating area.The resort provides a BBQ area with plenty of outdoor seating, a gas bottle & BBQ tools are available from reception for a small fee and a holding bond.
bullet Our free tour booking desk covers all major attractions and activities in the Bay of Islands and a courtesy shuttle is provided for activities booked directly through the resort.
bullet The Waitangi River is a great place to explore and relax, we hire Kayaks (at high tide). Why not take the opportunity to get a closer look at Haruru Falls. Other facilities include Private Boat ramp and Wharf for small board.

bullet Transport - A complimentary courtesy shuttle is available for transfer in conjunction with directly booked activities. For guests requiring transfers to the Whangarei or Kerikeri airports or bus connections a shuttle bus can be arranged at own cost. Taxi's and Rental cars can also be arranged.
bullet Laundry and Dry Cleaning - A coin operated Guest Laundry is available on site. Dry Cleaning and personal laundry and pressing service are available upon request.
bullet Camp Kitchen - The kitchen contains hotplates, microwave, toaster and fridges and is free to use however utensils are not supplied.
bullet Camp Showers and Toilets - Fresh spring water used in all water supplies within the resort. There is no extra charge for a "hot" shower or use of swimming pool complex.
bullet Dump Station - A registered site to remove camping waste waters for maintaining a clean environment at the resort.
bullet Medical or Emergencies - If you need to see a doctor or need urgent medical supplies we can arrange an appointment for you.
bullet Fresh Water - Haruru falls has its own natural spring water supply therefore all water is safe to drink and freely available, ice can be supplied at reception.
bullet Parking - Secure truck, bus and boat parking space is available upon request.
